What is a motivating factor in your life? Why do you work? Why do you go to church? Why do you follow Jesus? It's easy to have hidden agendas and secret matters of the heart when it comes to man, but God knows all and sees the heart perfectly. Many serve God because of the blessings of God or eternal life, but if this is the only motivation the purest joy of this life is left out.
When we are doing the work of God we are not doing this to advance ourselves. It's not about us. When you can worship God, for who He is, you will experience the greatest blessing, in spite of any tangible blessings you may or may not experience!
They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive. Matthew 20:7Push into His presence in a deeper way this week! You will be surprised the difference in your experience with God when you connect with a Spirit-filled community to encourage you and spur you on when things get difficult. The Holy Spirit is moving around the world, and we are preparing for a great local move of His Holy Spirit here in Durham before Jesus's soon return.
God's Word is both timeless and powerful today!
